What happens when you call is straightforward: we talk for a few minutes about your power bills, then I come out and get up on the roof. I want to see shingle age, the pitch, which slopes face south, and how much shade those old water oaks are throwing at four in the afternoon. Then I open your panel and check what the service can actually carry. That visit runs about an hour.
Array size, roof material, how many mounts we have to flash, and whether the electrical service needs work are the things that move the number. Commercial solar power turns that dead space into the cheapest kilowatt on your bill, but a warehouse array isn't just a scaled-up home solar installation. Your service is three phase, your meter bills you for peak demand, and the array has to match the hours your compressors and coolers actually pull. So I start with a year of your usage, not a roof measurement.

Roofs change faster than the weather here.
